Yoga and counseling go hand in hand for Rachel as she believes strongly in the transformative powers that the ancient practice of yoga holds. She is a lifelong student of movement, and believes that psychological pain is a result of unreleased emotions in the body. She works with her clients on a mental and physical level while utilizing talk therapy, yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation to release symptoms related to stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and addiction.
As a mind/body counselor, Rachel uses an integrative approach that includes skills from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Yoga. She uses her passion for helping others to unlock the highest potential of all her clients, and is completely enthralled with the process of igniting change that leads to wellness.
